Talking New here... well, sort of!

Hey boys, how you doin'?

I've been posting less on Outdoorwire, because the Z3 is my daily driver, but I'll try to generate some traffic here!

See ya!

Welcome aboard Hugo.
I take it the Z3 is is zippin' along just fine

Stop by our Tech section too if you get time. Mark has been adding some articles over the past week.

If you have a mod or maintenance tip that would come in handy for all, he can get it added to the Tech section.

Oh, the Z3 is zippin' all right!

Many mods done, many more underway!

ECU, intake, tires, cosmetic stuff, it's all done. The exhaust is next along with the roll hoop retrofit!

I still make sure the 4Runner gets a workout...

They make too many things, and I want them all, it's insane.

Many folks S/C'd their 4Runner. S/C a Z3, you end up with like 300rwhp. One guy with the 3.0 one (I got the 2.8) has 321 rwhp, runs the ¼ mile in 11.8 secs...

My intake is custom, but I'll mod it even more. No deck plate possible... The car is already fun as it is, and now I have 205 hp and 217 lbs/ft of torque in a 2800 lbs package. It moves!

The 4Runner is still number one for build quality though. And I still prefer looking over the traffic!

You have a 2.8 in the z3? Yeah I have that displacement in my MkII Supra. It comes out to 169 cubic inches. The general rule is you should be able to get at least 1hp out of every c.i., so you're doing pretty good already, especially in such a light car! The bummer for me is that they dont make many off the shelf things for the 5M motor in my Supra, so I have to either live with it or get really creative and spend big $$. Right now I have a custom intake tube and K&N, headers, lightweight flywheel, and a nice muffler and exhaust. Beyond that there isnt much to be done outside of swapping engines and crap like that. I think I'm probably running about 185 hp or so, but at the crank
Thats one thing I envy about Chevy small block owners: the aftermarket sky is the limit. Oh well.. Summit Racing is coming out with a separate import website and catalog, so maybe things will get better for all of us import people.

Nice Hugo. It sounds like you have a lot of plans for that Z! We have to go cruising some time.

Here's a cool pic of my babies.

Good one.

I see a lot of people from Outdoorwire post here, that's nice, you already have decent amounts of traffic.

Congratulations!
