need estimate for 6" lift kit on '95 runner
#1
i posted a little while ago about my truck going up in flames, and i am currently dealing with my insurance company about a "fair value" and i was asking if someone could direct me towards some prices for a 6" lift kit for a 1995 4runner. Even just companies would be extremely helpful. I have everything else priced out except how much it would cost to re-lift a 4runner like my old one. All help would be greatly appreciated!

Never herd of a 6" kit. You should (if its not too late) look at prices for 4" lift kits.
www.superlift.com and www.explorerprocomp.com both makes kits that run between $2,100-$2,5000
If i remember correctly, www.trailmastersuspension.com has one for around $2,000
The 4" kits along with a few other mods might give you 6" of lift but not in a complete kit.

Fabtech does not make a second gen kit (4x4). Years ago I remember people would take a 4" pro comp or trailmaster and use it with rancho upper a-arms and torsion bars and call it a 6". OR its a 4" suspension with a 2" body lift. If you are in the San Jose area, I own a shop called Rock Star Engineering and we are in the off road/aftermarket buisness. We could definately put a quote together for you to get you back in buisness. by the way, sorry for your loss. Mike

All the 6" kits are for post 96 tacos/4runners. Pre 96 have the 4".
I have seen the 4" kits for under $500 for the 1st and 2nd gens.
The 6" kits that wouldnt fit on your truck are ~$1500
