I finally got to install my lift this past weekend. Friday did the rear (OME hd springs, comfort shocks) and front install of SAWs.

Saturday I installed the diff drop kit and adjusted the SAWs. I ended up level w/ the rear w/ 1-7/8" of thread revealed.

Today, I had the alignment done and took my first test drive. This is so much better than stock, better ride and handeling and it looks bad ass

For tires I got 285/75/16 duelers.

Last Id like to thank everyone from yotatech and 4x4wire for thier input and advice; w/ special thanks to Mike (x-treame) and Schaefer for the great service and parts.

 

I'm super jealous not that I can't get my lift the way I had planned. That looks awesome! How much lift did you get?

Wow, that does look good. How is the suspention over bumps now, is it stiff or does it feel like you have more usable suspention travel now?

 

Im not 100% sure but I would guess 2-3" in the rear and about the same in the front. I didnt take ant measurements ahead of time (I dove right in without thinking) but Ive been told that the OME hd springs give you close to 3" but w/ only 1-7/8" of thread on the SAWs I may be lower.

 

The suspension is stiffer, so potholes are a little rough but handling esp. cornering is much improved even w/ a taller stance. I havent been off road yet so I nont know about usable travel., but I def. have more clearence.

 

How does the rear end feel, because you are bone stock, right?

In the rear I have OME hd springs w/ comfort shocks. The rear suspension is what feels stiff, the SAWs up front are nice and smooth.

 

That's what I'm afraid of. I was going to do the exact opposite and run the 890's with the HD shocks for a little less harshness.
