LED light bar?

I pulled next to a wrangler at a light and noticed on his hood he had this sweet LED light bar toward (centered right in front of the windshield wipers). Maybe a row of about 8 or so. Didn't really have the best look at it but it looked like it was encased in some sort of plastic or steel. Being the nosy person I am I rolled down my window and asked him where he got it. If i remember correctly he said hydratech, but the only googles brought up were braking systems.

has anyone heard about these? And where to get them? I just found my next mod

Were the lights "on" when you saw them? If so, what was the output like?

Had you planned on mounting them on the hood as well or somewhere else?

Just wondering why would you want to mount those on your hood?

From the position and the angle you would need to actually aim the lights where your driving towards I would think the glare and reflection off the hood would overweigh the benefits of the added lighting...
