Possibly something similar to the "Mega Squirt" and/or "MSD" electronic spark modulator/engine management systems (that are not currently available for the 2nd. gen. 'Runners from MSD)????????????????

On a stock 4runner engine it will just make your wallet $200+ lighter.

it's just on of those electronics that trick your ecu into thinking its at WOT all the time. So timing is advanced and more fuel is dumped into your motor. Worthless throw your 2 benjy's somewhere elses.

Hopefully most of these car/truck forums help people not throw their money away but then again there's the Cavalier forums and those people are already beyond help.

(short hijack!)

The MegaSquirt is a _replacement_ fuel controller - i.e., not a piggyback. It's quite a cool little module. I'd be running one if I could figure out what to do with my auto tranny. There's also the MS II which will handle the timing as well as fuel.

If you're looking for a spark modulator, check out the "Plasma Booster" from Ignition Solutions. I've been running one for a while and am pretty happy with it.

(hijack complete!)
