Identify this header?

Hey guys, got an '83 truck with no motor for a song and a dance from a friend, and it came with this header in it. I mainly got the rig for parts, so I pulled the header out right away to clean it up. I just pulled the 22re out of my recently purchased '85 truck tonight, and want to put this header in with the "new" motor that's going into it. It will bolt up to the block and has the provision for an O2 sensor (had a blockoff plate on it since it was in the '83 rig).

Anyway, can anybody give me ideas as to who made it? It doesn't have any stamping on it anywhere or any kind of badge.. It's a 4 into 1, definetely made for a truck as it fits just right around the header hoses. hopefully it won't rob too much low end, though this is just a daily driver not a wheeler, so I'm not too worried about low end.

Sorry for the crappy pics, my phone isn't so great at images.

Sorry, I edited it, can you see the pics now?

Anyway, I'm pretty sure it will fit. The exhaust ports match. I think it was originally made for a 22re because it has the O2 sensor port, it was just used on the 22re in the '83 (unless there were some '83's or earlier that had O2 sensors?)

BTW, here is a picture of the exhaust ports... maybe someone can verify that it will indeed fit a 22re. They seem to line up... It doesn't utilize the air injection stuff that my old 85 motor had on it... but that's ok because the new motor going in is from an '87 and doesn't have any of that stuff on it.

ok not the pics work..... what does the head on your current engine look like? never seen that header before... looks kinda like a homegrown header, but that could jsut be crummy photo quality and jsut acummulation of dirt on the header....

Head on the engine I'm putting in has pear shaped exhaust ports.

The welds on the header actually look pretty good, and it looks like it was coated with some kind of something at some point, since it has kind of a shiny metallic gold color to it underneath all the baked on clay dirt, so I'm guessing it's not a home made one. The truck it came off of was pretty "booty fab" so I'm guessing the previous owner before my friend didn't make his own header, cause it wouldn't look half decent like this one!

yes. looks kinda like a downy. dont worry. as long as its clean inside...the walls are still strong - it should be good. just make sure it matches up. circular to circular ports...pear to pear.

btw - you took those pics with a camera phone? wow. pretty decent camera phone.
