How heavy is the 3.4L V-6 engine and trans?

Hi guys,

Just curious how heavy the 3.4 V-6 engine is along with the transmission. Curious because I'm probably going to end up buying an engine hoist to get mine out of there. Harbor Freight has 'em on sale. Should I get the 1-ton or the 2-ton? The 2-ton isn't much more - I think it's $170 vs. $130 for the 1-ton.

Cheers,

Jeremy

I'd get a 10 ton Harbor Freight. It might hold 1 real ton then.
