Hilux Accessories

I emailed Lloyd tonight (J-Spec185) and he is going to price the Hilux front bumper protector and multicoated fog lamps for me. He thinks his supplier can get them. He said that he should know a price by the first part of next week. I will be sure to let everyone know how much they are and the availability. For those who haven't seen the stuff, it's here on Jalabar's site.

Later.

Matt

I like that multi-box for the din under the radio. The fog lights look cool too. I am not crazy about that big body kit. Looks a little too much like a big car or something. And I still hate those hood mounted rear view mirrors. Are these people doing serious towing or something?

Yeah I would like to get a price on those footwell lamps as well Sleepy. You and I seem to be all over that mod for the lights down there. I don't particularly like the green lights they have in the pics. but I could change those out to a nice white light n/p, but if that kit comes w/ wire and mouting brackets and what not and it's not to expensive then I'm all over it.

P.S. What is J-Specs e-mail? Just in case he doesn't get you the prices on everything I can still e-mail him and get the prices on the lights. Thanks

I've got a feeling that the stuff is going to be quite steep and not worth the money but we'll see.

The page reference above is mine. The original home page where I got the pics is http://gazoo.com/auto/ You will not find the third gen stuff there anymore because the fourth gen is currently being displayed. I slapped together the hilux accessory page because after numerous times emailing Autoworx (John not Loyd) they kept telling me they could not access the links I was sending them for the parts I wanted info and pricing on. Then I started sending Pics to them and they could not see them. Finally I slapped up a page with everything that I and others showed interest in from threads on ODW. That was about a year ago and eventually I gave up. Good Luck getting pricing and or info.

Here is the original thread on ODW one year age
http://www.outdoorwire.com/cgi-bin/u...;f=13;t=007763

Lot of people showed interest then and the pics are still displaying from Gazoo's page, so maybe the 3rd gen goodies are still up on there somewhere.

OK, a little diggin around and here are the original pages of 3rd gen Hilux Surf Accessories...

Rowan,
I got my gauges here:

http://www.dakotadigital.com/

They are listed under instrumentation, individual gauges, rectangular gauges, and then miscellaneous gauges. They are kinda pricey, but work great, easy to install, and look awesome. Check it out.

Dakota Gauges

Matt,

Any interest in converting your instrument cluster to all digital? I have a full set of loose Dakota vac fluor gauges that I was going to use in my sound competition Celica GTS. I had a radio display wired up for the cluster too, but I never ended up putting them in, then I sold the Celica. It would require a good amount of work to get them situated - like getting a used cluster, gutting it, setting the gauges via standoffs and epoxy, and making a front plexi panel - back masked with windows for the readouts. My buddy had a set in his Pathfinder - they worked and looked awesome (and factory!!). PM me if you are interested.
