HELP!!! reverse glow gauges!!

i got a package deal off ebay for silver faced gauges and some crappy bulbs that i sold to a friend and followed the write up in the formums perfectly. at first only the far write engine heat light would turn blue now none of them will. they came in an r otto racing box (alfaroto.com) they fit on the gauges and allowed the needles to move withouit any cutting or drilling. i drilled the holes in the white gauge cluster etc etc. WHY WONT THEY WORK????
thanks

Sorry man I can't offer any help for you, because I've never done this, but I though I'd give you a BUMP
Try another forum, there is a forum called ToyotaNation.com I believe. Anyway there are more than just trucks there and a lot of guys there are more into cosmetic upgrades and such. Just a suggestion.

Have you blown a fuse? Did you check the wire with a tester to make sure you've got juice going to the gauges?

Okay, so if you're getting at least one blue light on the new cluster, it probably isn't a fuse issue, since its getting some power. Have you tried adjusting the intensity of gauges? Maybe its turned down too low? Have you looked at them at night? Who made these gauges?

at first only one worked then they all stoped working. i have messed with the ilumination and have looked at them at night but to no avail.
they are made by r otto racing. website is alfaracing.com or something like that but i won the auction from pro car parts. i emailed the r otto company 2 days ago and havnt heard anything this really sucks.

Huh, I got mine from procarparts, and didn't have any trouble at all. So, if none of them are working at all, I would double check all your wiring. What did you connect the positive and ground wire to? Check the connections on all the wires to make sure nothing got pulled loose. Go to Walmart or Napa or whereever, and buy yourself a cheap voltage tester. Its bascilly a pointy looking thing with a lightbulb, with a wire with an alligator clip on the end. You ground the clip, then push the pointy thing in the wire that should have juice flowing to it. The light should turn on if you've got power flowing to the cluster (make sure the vehicle is turned on).
