guess who got some new shoes

Me

Casey

Both of us

Yep, Casey and I went to Mountain View Goodyear in Newhall for some new MTRs.
He got 33/12.5/15
I got 285/75/16

We both love them, they're definitely a step up from our 32s. Sure 35s are nice, but these suit us quite well.

He has some rubbing with his on the driver's side slider and pinchweld on the body, but the tire shop was nice enough to grind that problem away.

Then right after that, we had to break em in! Sadly I couldn't drive my runner as the 4wd is down at the moment, but we took his up to Rowher Flats for a little wheelin.

and there's a little video clip here

All in all, a good day.

Those are some sharp lookin' rigs! How was Casey able to fit 15" wheels on his 'Runner?

editted, opps I just realized what you were talking about. Casey has a 2WD if I remember correctly and doesn't have the 13" discs in front so the 15's fit.

nice Casey! I've seen that thing go through some changes in the last year or two! lookin' good.

thanx for the kind replies, guys!

yep, you guys got it, i used to be 2WD, and thus my truck came with 15s from the factory.

i know the trimming on my sliders doesnt look too good, but it was kind of a quick fix. im gonna try and get them cut off and welded a bit further back. the tires were rubbing a bit off road, but it wont be a problem once i can find a good welder to help me out.

Also Charles, are those 5 spoke rims you're wearing there? Are those new too?
