Finally did some mods

After 11 years, I finally decided to do some mods to the ol' Runner. Some old Bilsteins and factory springs were replaced with OME shocks, springs, and steering stabilizer. I got rid of the rusty Manik grille guard and put on a TJM T13 bull bar.

Still waiting for torsion bars, fender flares, and sliders. I hope to order those in a few weeks. I also covered up the rusting exhaust pipe with a black chrome tip ($8 at Advance Auto Parts)--that should tide me over until I can get an exhaust upgrade.

Check it out and let me know what you think.

I'm also selling my running boards in case anybody is interested...

Matt

CTB, where do you live now?

96_First_Responder, other than the height, I really didn't notice a difference in the ride from the stock setup. It's a bit stiffer, but the rear springs were so shot, that even a new set of stock springs would have made the ride stiffer.

I got everything done at 4x4connection (www.4x4connection.com). The springs were $62/each and the shocks were $72/each. The steering stabilizer was $56.

Richey,

We left VA for Georgia, then Colorado, and now I'm back in SC. I go to college here, and my parents just moved back here this summer.
