What is the oem exhaust pipe/muffler size for a 2nd gen (92) 4runner. Is it 2.0 or 2.25????

Godzilla's exhaust was measured in feet not inches

Sorry just had to have a crack at it, your screen name leaves a question like that wide open for abuse.

Can't help you, but at least you get a bump!!

Is it a 3.0 or a 2.4L? Makes a difference. I'm guessing 3.0 since you started at 2".... 2" is oem or at least right around where it should be. You can go 2.5" on a 3.0 without running in to backpressure issues. Someone with a 3vze will hopefully chime in.

its the 3.0L. is the 2.25 the way to go for the muffler, and will this still fit up with the stock cat?

Hopefully your welding the muffler in right? If you clamp it they never seem to seal right IMO. Just take a chunk of your pipe with you and test fit it in the store/ shop.

Edit: most mufflers are set up to slide over the pipe for easy fit up and welding.
