It does not have a locker in it. The space next to the dimmer switch is where the switch would be, but in that truck a security button sits there.

my bad I meant right of the dimmer switch. In post number 6 the locker is just to the right of the dimmer switch almost under the steering wheel tilt. is that not the normal location on all 96-02? Is that also the location of the factory alarm? Most of the auto shops I have talked to do not even know what a locker is so I need to be able to recognize it from pictures. Sorry if I am annoying you neliconcept...

If the switch to the right of the dimmer says "RR Diff Lock" then you have a locker, if it is just a light then you do not

Ain't that the truth!

When going to the TOYOTA stealer and asking if they had any trucks with an e-locker infront of about 6 salesman they all just looked at me like i had something hanging from my nose. After asking again and giving a little explanation one of the low life techs that gets paid a fraction of what they do comes over and says "yeah, there is one taco out there with one, it is quite nice and works great when you need it...*looks over ar mine* and you can always swap in one in your as well. Want me to show you mine around back?"

So i say sure and see the smirk on his face and the look on the salesman faces was worth it both for him and me (i hate car salemen...). I know that had any of them tried to sell me a truck i would not have even considered buying but had that tech tried it would have been hard to say no!

You could always purchase a rear locker (if you want one), theres a few choices out there.
