Dash Lights

The control panel for the heater, defrost, and AC has a light out in it. The temp. knob and the heat position knob light up but the fan control and the lever to switch from outside air to inside does not. What i'm wondering is there a bulb behind the panel that I can replace, or is it something that a whole assembly must be bought? This is in a '00 4runner.

Ihave replaced this bulb on my 99 4Runner and my 93 pickup in the past. There is a bulb that just pulled out after removing the face of the heater controls.

What I did:
I called the dealer and they told me they couldn't find a part number but could order a bulb @ $5 each! (bulb is tiny with 14V 1.4W written on it). I went to Autozone and asked them and their computer said it was a "74". WRONG, the 74 is too big! They did have a 2721 (although it is 2.1W instead of 1.4W) euro bulb that is the same size as the the Toyota bulb and is only $2 for 2. You will have to re-use the green sleeve from the old bulb (if yours has one).

Let me know if this is like yours.

when changing the bulb, take the knobs off the switches first, then the cup holder, lift the cup holder up then work it out....remember cup holder need to be lifted upward if you still want the cup holder

No cup holder in the dash of a 200 4Runner...but other info seems correct.
