I got my cb antenna and parts from this store...

Hope that helps, I think radio shack might have some too but I can't guarantee as I don't frequent that shop anymore....

good luck

Make sure you get a good one.
My first one was a $10 one from GI Joe's, and it rattled and was a very poor excuse for one.

Look on my website and then click on the CB page.
Print out the pic for the QD that I use and take it with you to a shop, or compare it to what an online place has.

It's the beef, and will run you about $20, but worth it.
You can see by a few pics how it works.

I had a QD for my antenna, but I found a 90 degree folding elbw connector so I can just pull up the collar and hinge it over when necessary, and no worries of someone just taking my antenna for whatever reason some punk might come up with. I got it at a truck stop on my way to CA. I had the one from GI Joes that Vorey mentioned, and it worked, but the lockpin fell out one morning when I was removing the antenna. I fixed it, but I don't use it anymore.

I also got my stuff from Alf Enterprises. They carry lots of firestik accessories, including QD's and springs.

I was just on Alf's site, and this is an example of the quick disco to avoid, it's the same as the GI Joe's one I had.

My pin also fell out like Seafarinman's.

The page that Cebby just posted has the better QD, it looks the same as mine.

I have one of the Firestik QDs. Seems to work well and I think is stainless steel for our NW damp weather.

I see they have two of the Firestik ones on Alf's site.
I had the one in the picture on the right, the external one.

Maybe the internal one works better?
