2nd Gen. Altimeter
#1
I've been looking around for a while now trying to get my hands on one of those kick ace 2nd gen. altimeters. Sadily I can't . Does anyone here know anywhere I could find one of these? In my searching I come across 1st gen altimeters all the time on ebay, What are your guys' opinions on how a 1st gen altimeter would look in a 2nd gen 4Runner?

Did you see mine?
I have a 2nd gen one from Australia.
They are made for a right hand drive rig, but you can mod the base to make it work.
Also the altimeter is in meters, and not feet.
It's on my website under the Mods section.
Contact JD here on the forum, you can look up his profile.
He may be able to help you out, as I got mine from him.

Unless you're in love with the 2nd gen altimeter, you could try one of Garmin's GPS/Altimeter combos mounted on your dash. You'd get a great GPS, mapping capability, and a altimeter that could be set to read in feet or meters.
