Unhappy Can you have two loves?

Love my runner, even with just a few trips across town I fell hard for it. But I love my Jeeps too....? I have an 88 xj and a 73 cj and they are both great 4wd's as well. Do we really have to draw a line in the sand and say " All Jeeps on that side...and all Toys over here." " You can't enjoy both at same time....you must choose..!!" Just my late night thoughts.

Is there enough love for Xterras, Blazers, Jeeps, Broncos?

I'm not a sellout....just eclectic.

I'm with ya, I love my 4Runner and my Xterra (and my Fiance', so I guess you could say I have 3 loves )

I love them for different reasons, but my main problem is that both are grear 4x4s, so it's tough to decide which to take offroading My Xterra is pretty much my daily driver, and since I got it my 4Runner has become my trail rig, so I'm happy just as long as I can keep up with the insurance

I guess you can bro, it takes all kinds. Rarely do you see someone that has love for heeps and yotas, but it does happen. Kinda lessens the fun in the rivalry. I can say that I'll never drive a heep, but I won't look down on you because you do. I got tons of heep owning friends. A lot of my wheelin buddies drive heeps. When it comes down to it, we all are trying to enjoy the same thing, the rivalry just keeps things interesting....

No You must choose. This garage Ain't big enough for Jeeps and Toyota. I say a game Chicken on a narrow bridge should decide it once and for all.

I think you can.
Who makes the rules that says you can only love one car - Im guessing it was perpetrated by a woman.

I have many loves: VW Beetles (Originals - not the new crap), 4Runner, Minis, etc.

But I also have the rivals. ie. Old vs New Beetle.

I guess they kindof go hand in hand, but I do think CJs rock the party, and I'd love to get an early 80's model to play in. But, just add that to the list.

i agree, you can more than one love, and i agree with 44runner, you got to have the rivals to keep it fun, as i was ARMY, and a few of my good friends are Air Force, Marines, and one was Coast Gaurd, and we fight all the time about who is best, but bottom line its just good fun, and no one gets hurt, so,, yes you can love both.

I love my 4Runner, but I'm still dating my 2000 Jeep GC. She's high maintenance (literally). Had to have the crank position sensor replaced (under warranty) and just replaced the door lock actuator (not under warranty). I met her on December 15th of 2002. If my she keeps it up, I might cheat on her and get another 4Runner...(I wouldn't think twice about it either)

i'm with ya....first I was a jeep lover though. I ahve had 2 jeeps(79 CJ5....360 AMC V8, 78 CJ7....350 chevy V8), and then had 2 toyotas(89 xcab...22RE, and current 92 4runner V6). the toyotas made better dailydrivers no doubt about that, but are still capable off road....the jeeps made better hotrods...he he jeep jsut has the cool factor of the top and doors off. i also have a love for f-body's(camaro, firebird), H-bodys(monzas, vegas), motorcycles, turbo dodges, etc. it's easy to love more than one thing.....jsut hard to afford them all at the same time, but i'm working on it.....now I jsut need a bigger garage.

I love my 4 Runner and wouldnt change it for anything, but I also enjoy driving the wifes Grand Cherokee Limited now and again.

I get the best of both worlds, looks and ruggedness of the Toyota and the performance and luxury of the Jeep

Well, I took this one to the only REAL authority on everything, my wife. I didnt even get the whole question out, but the answer was a resounding NO!
So, there you have it. One love, no more.
