Question bumper

I have a 97 4Runner with painted bumpers. I'd like to have chrome bumpers. How difficult do you think it'd be to change out the bumpers? If possible, I'd like to avoid taking it somewhere to be done. I looked around online for parts and found there are brackets sold for bumpers. If I'm just changing out the bumpers, can I just use the brackets that I assume are already on the vehicle? Any advice would be very helpful! Thanks!

I think he means what color are your bumpers now just in case he can make a trade with you.

Oh. My 4Runner is black, so I *think* the bumpers are dark grey. I'm not 100% sure, although I you'd think I'd know since I've had it for over 6 years! hahaha. I'll have to take a look at it and let you know.

If I were you I would PM Brian (the guy above) and ask him if he wants to trade with you. He's got a black runner and might be interested in your bumpers, and he might work out a trade with you. Never hurts to ask

By the way Brian. You can get his grey bumpers and have them painted black to match like I did, if thats what you looking at doing. Just a suggestion.

he is, he wants to black out his truck all the way. That front bumper would be a big part, then all he will have next is the rear one!! Look'n good B!
