Breaks Squeak

I would pull off the tire where you think the one is squeaking, remove the pads and spray the backs of them with disc brake quiet. Should work if everythingis fine, otherwise you might need brakes.

I read on several oother message boards.. Its good to stop hard a few times if there new brakes... Ive had the 4runner a week now and have no had to use the brakes real hard yet.. Thats a good thing
But other boards people said to get up to around 50mph and brake hard to help break them in....

That's if they're new brakes. (BTW, it's "brakes," not "breaks.") You do need to bed them in correctly, if they're brand new. If not, do as CJM suggested and put on some brake lube on the BACK of the brake pads.

there might be a bit of rust on the rotor surfaces,if left parked for a long time...just perform a brake service....make sure nothing is rubbing on the rotor, you might have to machine the surface...drums on the back?....lube the shoes where it contacts the backing plate with some anti-seize lube.
