Diagram14 - I ran a car stereo/alarm install shop for 5 years and you can add one-touch operation in both directions to any power window system with the addition of a couple window modules. They aren't cheap and you would need one module per pair of windows. The downside is that in order to add to other windows that aren't one-touch, you would have to run wires into each door independently. Very doable and pretty straight forward but time consuming nonetheless.

I haven't done any research on the swap to a switch from a newer vehicle but the one-touch operation comes from relays and limit switches and not the motors themselves.

I added a cheap mod to the sunroof in my '98 located here if you're interested...

My auto-up mods are not working right now, but if I ever get some more time to work on it, I will fix them. I plan on just making a simple circuit using a couple LM555 chips for the auto up.
