I just upgraded my interior mirror to auto dim/compass! This mirror is awesome! A lot easier to drive at night. Just wondering though, Ive seen cars with the outside mirrors that auto dim too. Are there any companies that make aftermarket auto dim mirrors for the outside ones? I searched around and couldnt find any, but Im sure someone does it, one things for sure, if someone started selling those for different cars and trucks (like a 2000 4runner with power heated mirrors ) they would sell a ton of them, we all know how popular the interior ones are.

 

if someone did come out with these, the ideal situation would be, power, heated, turnsignal, autodim mirrors. Wouldnt that be awesome!

 

i seem to be the only person that doesnt like turnsignal side mirrors...

...but yea, isnt the autodimming mirror awesome? i love mine.

 

i love my mirror turn signals, now only if someone could make them more low profile and add 3 more led's to them for day time use (barely visible during the day), i get a ton of compliments about them though

 

what company did you guys go with for your rear views? are there actual OEM mirriors? sorry for the hijak

I can get these mirrors as well. They are pricy, even at my cost. They are very cool through.

 

yea, i lucked out and ranma here on YT scored some from a junkyard.. so it was only like $60.

maybe people should try their junk yards too.

mine came with a piece of glass on the button.. so i laid it down on a blanket outside and chipped it all off.

Do you have the kind that sticks on the glass? I looked at a couple places, but nobody sells the full piece of glass, just the wide angle ones, at least for a 00 4runner
