Lookin' good man. Can you change the color of the lights or does it stay blue?

theres blue and green..

its also on a dimmer switch.. so i can basicly make it almost off and the needle lights it up... its really cool. I'm gonna make it so i can turn the entire thing off and then it'll look really cool.. white/greenish needles on white background

Oh man you have so got to get rid of them nasty green background lights. I changed all of mine to blue and the blue in needles looks really sweet!! Did you have any probs with the install? Was the write up helpful in the tech section?

The green lights look bad when i have the lights all the way up.. but when i turn them to green and turn the gauges off or all the way down.. it looks awesome!

the writeup was DEFINATLY helpful. I have a comptuer in my garage so we followed it step by step. worked great!

i didnt listen to your warning about the double sided tape.. we ended up driving to sav-on mid-project to grab some double sided tape. thank god i had my dads car to drive also

one thing im going to put on my writeup is DO NOT TAKE OFF THE STEERING COLUMN COVER. its a pain to get off/on. atleast it was on mine.

I have 33 megs of pictures i took... each are around 850k each.. so i gotta shrink all of them and choose which ones i wanna use.

give me time and i'll have that writeup done.

oh ya.. you know on your writeup the picture of you removing the front dash cover? i tried to replicate that picture You'll see it later

so you're looking into a second gen

http://search.ebay.com/search/search...4runner+gauges

there are 3 on there... i ordered from the one that looks like

E.L.* 89~95 TOYOTA 4RUNNER SR5 GLOW GAUGES

he posted those before and right before i clicked the "buy now" button.. the auction ran out. so i emailed him and asked if i could just buy them for 30 bucks. he said sure and shipped htem right out before he even got my check!

Would that fit my truck. I've got the tach and everything. It looks just like the picture, but I was wondering if there are any changes between the truck and 4-runner.

Reverse Indi

I sent an email to the address in the other thread to see if they were planning to make silver reverse indiglos. That's what I'm after, but I haven't found them yet. Anyone like the idea of silver reverse indiglos for the 2nd Gen? If so, send an email to msispeed@hotmail.com and ask for them. Maybe if he sees the interest, they will manufacture them.
