Aftermarket auto temp display

I have a 2002 Tacoma and want some sort of outside temp display.
Has anyone added a unit/ system and if so where did you get it?
How much was it?
Where did you mount it?
Any pictures?

You can buy rear view mirrors with a digital temp gauge built into the corner. I'm not sure, but I think they run around $160. You can buy them all over the place. I've seen adds in auto magazines and popular mechanics.

I think the 3rd gen 4Runners have a temp gauge somewhere. You may be able to retrofit one into your tacoma. I dunno. The folks here that own a 3rd gen could probably answer that better.

Well, hope that helped some.
Have fun.

One guy tried putting ojne of those aftermarket mirrors, but it was too wide. I was wanting either a mirror like you say or a nice aftermarket unit to mount on dash or console.

Factory Look

Dakota Digital has them too. Someone on the boards has one from them. I thinkit's LSUMatt or something...

Here's a link.

A bit pricey at $279 though.

SWEET!!!

Where did you get it and what does it look like just the gauge itself (size). Is it battery powered or direct wire?

Thanks
