Hey guys.Need your two cents.I have a double cab tacoma,arb bumper and 9000 warn winch.Truck dropped two inches when I put it on.So I was told dont waste time with revtek kit get coils.So I got a set of coil springs from Nothwest off road.That was advertised for a tacoma with the added weight of a winch.Sagged the next day.The first three coils are stacked just like the stock ones did. Only now I have a nice sqeaking noise to deal with. What do you guys think of adjustable coil overs and has anyone out there tried the tundras on the tacoma with a winch and winch bumper.Man all I want to do is raise the #$#$# thing back up where it was.I m not interested in a lift kit or making it ride like a log wagon.I dont mind paying around 800 or so if I have to.Im planing on keeping the truck.I also dont want to experiment any more.I need something that works.Im going to call them and talk to them about false advertising their products!I even thought about seeing if I could trade these back to them on a set of their adjustable coil overs.Please, any help would be appre ciated.Thanks.

 

Coilovers are the best bet...

King Coilovers (most expensive)
SAW Coilovers (very good - sway a way)
Downey Coilovers (not sure if they make em for ur tacoma - ask)

I figured it was. I just have to find a distributor that will be honest with me and not sell me something that wont work like Northwest off road did.I cant afford to experiment with 800 parts.Not to mention swapping things out.Man Im getting to old for this crap.I know what I want it to do.just need to find the stuff that will do it.Thanks for your time I realy Do appreciate it .Ignore my spelling.Im old and I type looking at the key board not the screen.Thanks again.

I think SAWs are exactly what you're looking for. I was expecting a stiffer ride when I got them, especially on the freeway, over small bumps, etc. I was pleasantly surprised with how the ride still felt "factory" only now it didn't roll as much through the corners and it handles better. I knew it was definitely still a nice ride when my wife didn't even notice the difference after I installed them. She had complained about the "stagecoach" -like ride of my old truck after it was lifted. She only noticed the difference getting out when she had farther to drop to the ground(she had gotten in parked next to a curb.)

 

Definetely go with Mike. If you can't get a reply from e-mailing him, give him a call. He's been really busy lately and I think his e-mail service has been acting up as well so calling him might be your best bet.
