ADD Actuator Help
mr. stupidhead here. I had to dismantle my ADD actuator so I could press out and replace the vacuum nipple.
I opened what I thought was an access hole but discovered to late that it held an indent spring for the actuator rod. All the pieces fell out and I was hoping someone knows what parts should be in there.
I found a ball, a spring and a sleeve as well as a small washer on the floor (although the washer could have been a trick washer just waiting to fool me).
I assembled it in this order - ball, spring then sleeve and buttoned it up.
Could someone verify this order? thanks sorry this was long.

thanks for the image. Unfortunately is does not show an exploded view of the Actuator which is where my problem is. I realize that this is not a serviceable part but that's never stopped me before.
Was that image from the FSM? If so I need to get one of those puppies.
thanks again

This from someone at www.ih8mud.com
This applies to Land Cruisers, might be the same
"If you do open up your actuators be damn careful. There are NO, repeat, NO components serviced by Toyota. If you lose or break something, you are on your own.
The "non-serviceability" of the actuators is why the FSM makes no mention of disassembly."
diff lock actulator
good luck

It seems to work well I think the spring loaded ball is clicking into the indents on the shaft. If it's warm enough tomorow I'll put it in and see if it works.
thanks for the help
edit - The operation seems to be a success. I had to run a bead of RTV silicone around the actuator diaphram as the housing had a chunk out of it.
I just reinstalled it and it's working.
