3 words Squires Turbo System

Guys, I was just doing a little searching, and i came across STS its amazing. Instead of mounting the turbo and intake under the hood, they mount it under the car. Oh you think thats stupid cause of water or mud, well they have that taken care of. Check it out. http://ststurbo.com/tacoma I saw it and I was amazed to see that they have the kit for of all cars the tacoma.:-D i thought it was sweet........... have fun guys!

Naturally aspirated should be illegal. That said, there is plenty of room under the engine bay, there's where mine will go.

3 words: WAIT FOR NODE

that system sucks for 4k, for 4k you should have a Intercooled 340+rwhp single turbo!
just wait for node man. On other forums (MR2) he already has completed the Mainfold for a single turbo setup. Just hang in there the options are gonna be awesome for the 5vz.

Weasy2k- i think I am starting to sound like you!

hehe took the words from my....well...keyboard i suppose

So Much Lag
The turbo will get very cool exhaust temps which = slow spool...that PLUS the long ass piping yuo need to get it to your intake = Slow spool feeling...compounded for a very....slow spool? People have used it and said great things about it...but not something for that price. I also read somewhere that they dont recommend it to wet climates (which makes sense) becuase the air intake is below the truck...sucking in all the mist and water from everywhere...
The 5vz is going to have a LOT of aftermarket products coming this year! I just got my valve springs in and ready for resale.

There have been many threads on that system.
....search and you'll find plenty of reading why that setup is far from ideal.
