22R-E header

What header are all you 22R-E owners running, and what are your comments about it?

Have been considering this mod for a long time, waiting for my existing exhuast to die, shouldn't be too much longer.

Can you also specifiy what exhaust system you put on your header as well as price and any other deets. So far I would go for the LC Header, but a non LC exhaust due to the cost.

Ghetto home-brew system consisting of 2¼" aluminized pipe with a matching flange for the header, welded in 2½" cat, and an offset 2¼" in/out Dynomax super-turbo muffler that conveniently places the output high enough to go over the rear axle ending in a bent piece (the only bend in the system...) of 2¼" to direct the exhaust away from the bottom of the bed. It was supposed to be temporary, but it works and is holding up nicely...

Price? About $50 and some mig wire...

I initially had a NWOR cat-back system when I put the header on, it sucked.

header

I went cheap.. I got a Hedman off of summit racing for $119 but there are things you need to modify on this thing first the colector flange has to be welded to your stock connecting pipe after you cut off the stock Y section then the mounting face of the header to the head has to ground down to be flat so that it will seal since the Head and the welds are different shapes then I have found out the stock shaped o2 sensor will not mount in the flange and also the collector pieces that connect the header to the now welded down pipe have to be reshaped to clear the suspension..:pat:
but it did add power!
