Just got mine running well tonight. Bummer on yours.
All I can think of is a big problem that I could have had but noticed as I was installing it.
The distributor gear on the camshaft has a stud/key that goes into the cam for the mechanical fuel pump. Without that stud/key the cam will just spin and the pump will not work. Might not be the issue but something that you might be able to look at with the pump removed.
If lines look good after the fuel pump then trace back to the tank.

Yea im down sometime but need to get used to the truck first. I only drove it home after purchasing it before I started tearing it apart. Had an 87 2wd as my first truck when I was 16 but this is a little taller lol.
