Clutch pics

They used the original line and then bent it back (there is a slight kink) so I'm glad you wanted pics or I never woulda seen this!! Haha

Then it goes down and connects to a rubber line and then connects to the plunger and the rod

That's all I got for now but if you need more I didn't think of let me know!! Tomorrow I can take a pic of where my comp is if you'd like. Let me know!

Hey yall, I haven't updated in awhile because I've been busy working and such but here is some pics. I went to pull and save last week and scored on a couple things

Chrome inner and outer door handles from a late 80s camry I think it was. A air compressor from a 79 caddy. Map light, cruise control button, and window lock switch from a 87 4runnner

And this is a hella 500 light my roommate broke and didn't want. It and another one came on a smittybilt I'm going to sell. He hit something and destroyed the back of the light and ii can't find any replacements so I pulled out the trust JB weld lol well see how it holds up

I had a genius idea the other day... Today I went to walmart and bought this...

Chrome door trim haha I thot it would cover up my cuts on my fendersand then also make it look better. Its not the best pic but its all I could get before work. I only got the front fenders done so far. Let me know what you think!

welp, today was the local demolition derby. the offroad club gets to be the ones to go and pull out the dead cars. i was riding with my roommate, we just finished his 4runner, the khione runner. its a beast, but the wiring for the fan got caught in it and ripped up some wiring, sad day

i wasnt planning on using mine since i havent made my bumper yet and didnt really have any tow point back there, we needed it so i made it work.

time to get going on that bumper!

Search around behind the headliner, those plugs should already be there! This was prob the 1st mod I did, check my build, I got pics of the plugs.

Thanks for the pics. If I need anything else i'll let you know!

Looking through the pics:
It looks like the stock high press. power steering hose was used. They just unbend it?
If you follow the clutch line from the master, it will dip down close to the slave. That section right there is where most cut, flare, & connect the soft line to the slave. It will get rid of the kink.

Just a quick ?. What does that vacuum hose (red) hook up to? My 7m didn't have it, I assume its for the egr or something because my egr has nothing connected to it. There's also a blue plug near it that has nowhere to hook up to either. I'm thinking it might be for a vsv.

The blue circle is where most cut the clutchline.

thanks for the tip! i tried digging around in there hoping there would be some plug in but to no avail. i have thought about redoing the clutch line, i just havent gotten to it yet and wasnt really sure about what other people have done some im glad that you helped! now i know where to make my cut and flare haha

as for the vacuum line, im not too sure off the top of my head but i can look tomorrow and try and trace it. im sure that you are probably right though. a little curiosity never hurt anyone! thanks for you help and advice!!

Looks like you have been busy? Just curious as to what kind of mileage you are getting? I am looking at different options for mileage and horsepower.

haha thanks! ive been trying to be busy. yesterday i finally got the jb welded hellas wired up and working. as for mileage, i figure im getting somewhere around 12-15 but i also drive it like i stole it. the po told me that he could get low 20's with it. the horsepower from it is awesome and it really throws people off when you fly by them and it sounds like a car haha its really close to being a bolt in swap. im really happy with it!!

I decided it was time to do something about the faded paint on my runner, I went to walmart last night and ended up buying a 6 inch buffer and turtle wax buffing compound

I spent a couple hours on it and only got the hood, passenger funder and passenger door done. Looks a lot better though

And for those wondering, the lights aren't there for looks anymore. The jb weld seems to be holdin up good so ill see how long it lasts, when it breaks I'm buying some hid lights lol

YES! That compound stuff is great! Use it once to clean up the paint then after that just wax regularly, ~1 a month, and the shine will stay. My truck used to be powder pink before that stuff.

The hellas look bright! I used mine regularly until the kids around the neighborhood decided to use my driveway as a basketball court & busted one of the lenses! Now, no more hellas.

Thanks for the tip! I got some turtle wax that I will try out and hopefully it keeps it looking good until I paint it! I was really impressed with the compound though, I wasn't expecting much being from wal mart haha

Thanks! I've been impressed with them so far! I use them every night I drive along with the headlights. They do a wonderful job and the jb weld is holding up a lot better than I thought!

Here's a pic of it all finished, besides the roof. I'm going to repaint the topper again but this time gloss black along with a fresh coat on the wheels

You wanting it to sound like car alarms?? just kidding, sounded good. Thanks for the inof on the swap.

When looking for a truck, seeing that chalky looking stuff is a good thing. Alot of people will think it needs new paint and may discount the truck alot. Sometimes even wet sanding with some really fine sandpaper then polishing one out makes a big difference. Just involves a little time, but can make such a huge difference.

oh heck yea, i just love the sound of car alarms haha but i think if it sounded like that it would totally throw people off and i could set off car alarms

i know what you mean though! you have to use the chalky to your advantage. the guy that i got mine from was saying that it would need painted. just a good buffing fixed it though! thanks for reading through terry! youre welcome for the swap info!

That's the beauty of single-stage paint! Chalky, dull, or faded? It'll buff out, bro! --------------------------->Now,... if it only fixed rust...LOL

^That supra in the vid n/a? Sounds awesome!

I've got another pic request! I'm close to getting the drivetrain bolted back in but i'm having an issue. Does your engine still have egr? My engine won't tilt back enough to allow the transmission in place. The egr hits the firewall causing misalignment with the transmission. I've been told that you are supposed to beat the firewall back a bit but i don't think its possible. The throttle cable and e-brake cable elbow are in that same spot where the egr valve contacts. Can you get pics of this area?
