Smile Sullivan's 92 Pickup Build Thread

Picked up this 92 Toyota 22r 5spd for $500. truck has 240xxxkm on it, has unpainted replacement doors fenders and box sides. Plan is 3 inch body on 33's then safety the truck and put a 4-5" lift staying with ifs, then regear an 37's. ive only had the truck for a week now so not too much done yet

ill explain whats been done in each pic.

Day i got the truck

checkin out sills ect

sand and prime (as you can see rockers are gone)

rockers cut out for steel sliders

3 inch body lift, and 33's on

The truck bed was absolutely rotten, and with no boxes anywhere around here. i decided to make my own truck bed, and ill be putting the box sides on aswell

started painting the frame yesterday

also the truck is getting full MTX marine audio these 300 watt per speaker in the back on the roll cage in the cab. then a 10 inch mtx marine sub and amp, all waterproof

hopefully ill have more progress up tommorow!

Looks good! I actually dig the multi-color look.

Awesome fab work on the custom bed!! Body lines match perfect.
Nice build. You mention a 3" body lift, now, do the blocks actually measure 3" in height?

Check your battery connections, make sure they're clean.
I had a problem with a bad ground and truck would not start.
