Thanks Terry, working overtime for extra money but then no time to work on the trucks. Off Sunday so may do some things. I was not going to do the bushings and lift but the 4runner is apart so it is better to do it now than later.
When your vacation to the deep south?

Oh yea. I'm stuck like you are too. Lol. Only now I've reached my limit. I'm finally maxxed out on my (1year5month) no interest card already. Got about $1970/2k used. And still have 1year with no interest. I gotta pay it off then start over with buying the missing parts to my SAS kit and lift kit.
I need a good 2600-2700 more for the shocks and parts I need still. I'm just glad I have most of the important stuff, that makes the truck run, out of the way now. So I can wait a bit. Gonna be at least 2-3 months before its completely paid off. Then I'm gonna start again.
I just wanna have everything fixed and SAS'ed, lifted, rear gears, and locked front & rear axles all before that 1year5months are over lol. It'll be like making car payments for me ha ha ha

Yea, I do it the other way save money than buy. I got a wife so on the card she would know how much I use for toy parts. Overtime helps but with two projects time is more of a problem than money$. But I'm glad to be working and overtime happens not to many times. I too may do a SAS on the runner, my truck (87) I did a whole frame swap with an 85, I think swapping the axle would have been better, but I did not have this web site and now with all the info just a few key strokes away, it great
Glad your build is getting there, remember have fun that what it is all about....Bill

Yea my girl is actually helping me. I sacrificed alot for her, so she wants to return the favor and help me get my dream truck to how i want it. So she totally supports this project and knows its costly. =) hates the prices, but shes also looking forward to it. She grew up around a bunch of guy friends that off roaded as well. So she loved to come along with me.
After we get my truck going We're gonna get her a truck as well. Kinda like your situation with your wife. lol Hopefully she doesnt take my 4runner though.

Two progects good lord bill you should have all kinds of time. Jk i understand completely I love both my runners "and I will enjoy the new progect" but with a few days a month at home time is a premium. I will get them all done just cant put a time frame on it. Anyway great work on the tranny hope you get a lot done when you get the time.

Yea Mark it's ok, my mother in law can cook, she makes me dinner every night to take to work, saves my a lot of $$$$. You know working 3 11.
Jason, it's good to have a 40x32 foot shed that the wife has no access to, you can hide things, like two toyota's, my son K5 blazer and a vw golf. I still have room to work.
My wife has a ford freestyle suv and she now wants a mb 350 crossover type vehicle, good thing she a doctor (EDD) and makes more then I
One day all my project will be done, then start all over.

.... Jason, Jason, Jason.... My friend, that's it! I KNEW you were ill with Toyotaticulitus and possibly a Toyota-RESTORO-holic....... I'm begging you to self admit for a 72 Hour Evaluation at the 'Toyotectomy' Center! PLEASE MAN, you need help! hahahahaah. Wow, I wish you were my neighbor... I'd be over there helping you knock these out like a STORE! hehe.... I KNOW, part of the fun(while you've not have much time to get at it) is transforming it with your own hands... But C'MONNNNNNNN, s'all good, right? I'll just sneek over and BORROW a few of em.... ehchemmmmmmm, as part of your therapy, YEAH, that's it!
