That clutch alighnment tool grows legs. I have done several clutches and can never find it when I need one. Put a chain on it or it will disappear. lol

You are getting closer, wishing the best for you.

Thanks Terry, yes not much left to do once the manual is in.
The alignment tool is not mine, so when I finish with it I got to give it back... oh the heads for the 87 4.3 V6 are at the shop.....

I sold the clutch pedal assembly, slave and master cylinder and all the clutch lines out of my parts truck recently, I removed the steering column (had to remove it anyway, my brother wanted a tilt column) anyway it made removing the clutch pedal assembly a lot easier. I don't know if its absolutely necessary to remove the steering column, (like I said I had to take it out anyway) but with it out of the way you aren't all cramped up under the dash, you got better lighting to see and it only takes a few bolts and unplug a couple harness plugs to remove. Just thought I'd throw that out there, might make it easier for you, lol. Good luck!

A big congrats on getting it in. I havent experinced myself but apparently the clutch pedal assembly has a weak spot that can cause a little flex which causes some problems. Supposedly just needs a quick weld to it to fix it. Might give it a good look over before installing it. Congrat again.

Pics turned out nice. You will be glad you posted them someday. I suggest every now and then to go back thru your thread and see where you were at regardless how the pics turned out. You will be surprised at the progress and when you did different steps.

Tranny looks good.

Terry, I did it the other day and I was surprised that its only been 3 months on the runner project. I've come a long way in that short time....

Parts came in, parts came in...............
funny thing, I ordered the 2 inch body lift on 6-11-12 from one vendor and the body bushings that 15th from other and I received them on the same day (yesterday) by FEDx. One came from CA and the other from NJ. To bad I'm working until Sunday...well good thing they came at the same time..............did not have to wait long........
