Cup Holder

^^^ thanks

Made some cup holders from 4" PVC couplings. Things wobble a bit, think I'll make new ones from 3" pipe and make it a bit deeper.

Hahaha.... hey, WHATEVER WORKS, RIGHT?!

I love my cupholders that go over the window sill or how I use them, (hanging over the Console into the Passenger seat) hahaha... but that's a good idea, man!

Oh, meant to ask, ... you're an 88......... Did it come with those Door panels? Or are they a swap in you did. Couldn't find that, and I thought it was 89 they changed... Looks like I thought wrong, eh? hahaha. Lemme know, just curious.. Those doors look SICK, man! Very clean! Terry's doing a nice restore on his 'Big Red', too! lol.

Have a good/safe Weekend, RB!

Yes they were loose when I got it, I've managed to repair some of the clips. I'm goin to put a thin aluminum backing to it it so they will fit snug.

^^^ haha exactly! Must have changed them in 88. Chef, I noticed your panels are the older style, so I guess the switch was in 88.

hahaha.... Well, if you were trying to keep it all red, rather than swapping in 'gray' panels....then dash, ....then rear panels.... then roof liner, .....then....... you get the point! lol.

Ok, I see.... I will keep an eye out, cuz the last 88 I checked out at the yard(V6) was just like mine(the panels).... Maybe 88.5? lol. Anyway, it's not a big deal, was just curious... Thanks for the response.

Trucks looking SICK, RB!

I would use the 4" pipe, not coupling like I did. And make it about an inch deeper. For the bottom I used some vinyl planking I had laying around. Just not crazy about te looks, ( like PVC).

Hey, I was curious....

could you(not that you would!) cut out that portion of the pocket and JBweld it(or something) to the outer side of the cup holder, leaving a solid hole that could even fit a big gulp? I have a buddy with an extra set of these pockets and he's seen this, he's curious. I would forget they're there and kick them all over the floor, no doubt, so I'll stick with my method for now, ...but I likey! lol.
