I just wanted to let everyone know the 4Runner is still running strong! It hasn't seen any huge changes, just working great as-is. I DID get a new set of BFG KM3s for it a week ago. I love them. I need to repair a front CV boot, but then hope to get it out on the rocks to test the new tires soon. It's pretty much my daily right now.

I've still got a solid front axle in the garage waiting for the day I get bored enough to do a swap, but I love the thing so much as-is, I'm not in a hurry.

Hah! Crazy that my last post was exactly a year ago. Truck is in the exact same situation. I still drive it for fun and use it to haul stuff for the yard and house. Unfortunately I haven't been wheeling in the last year. I've been pretty hunkered down while we try to get the pandemic under control.

The motor is eating coolant, but I don't have any leaks or white vapor out of the exhaust. So I'm thinking it must be a slow leak near the water pump or somewhere pressurized on the block that's evaporating before it can turn into a drip. I've also got some surface rust I need to address and paint on the top of the cab.

But yeah, intend on holding onto it for the foreseeable future! Still love it.
