Final product of the winch. I must say, smittybuilt seriously dumbed these up for an easy installation. includes all the wiring, a wiring diagram that shows where they all go, and the line is already on the winch when you get it. probably takes 30-45 minutes to install if you can get the bolts to line up and dont need to clock it.

Tonight ill be tearing down my front axle and seeing how much place i have in the spindles and what not. once its torn down, ill be ordering everything needed for the axle. all new seals, gaskets, bushings, bearings, studs, brakes, pads, 5.29 R&P, and the diff rebuild kit. this thing should be golden after im done!

Wow, that thing is BEEF! Front end's looking 'Indestructo', ...........which will be needed when you begin to 'crawl over' rather than 'crawl round' more 'smashy' stuff! hahaha.

Sounds good, man.... how much you think you'll get all together for the front end stuffs that get cut?

No idea what im gonna get for the front. I've already sold the manual hubs for 140, and the skid plate and IFS brace for 400. and I've sold a couple other things like tail lights, blinkers and HIDs for 185 ish. so its helpful towards my SAS. Ill be ordering EVERYTHING i need for the front axle this weekend. I just need to disassemble the front axle, check for spindle play. and see if anything requires attention before i do.

So woke up this morning to a coolant leak from the bottom area of the radiator... thinking maybe a hose broke loose, or maybe a hose cracked because its been getting pretty cold at night... i'll figure it out here in a few.

Oh, and just saw another SFA from an 85, 300$, end to end. Strange, more out there than I remember being for sale over the last few years, lol.... And oh yes, I was looking at one point, quite a bit.

haha nice. get it!

So yeah, swapped the new radiator in. Cant really tell a difference since my factory gauges aren't percise. but regardless, it looks cool under the hood. Its a lot bigger than my previous radiator and the fan shroud wouldn't fit. It wouldn't even match up with the mounting locations, so no biggie. Here it is:

Isn't this supposed to be a "family" vehicle? why are you going to make it more capable than your current wheeler?

Went wheeling yesterday. The radiator worked great! I ran a little hot on the freeway due to the dirt and a bit of mud caked on it, but a little wash and itll be fine.

Also have an exhaust leak now. My truck doesn't do so hot on the rocks, I drag the entire underbody due to not having any lift. I even high centered on a small boulder. ( quite embarrassing ) lol I was actually looking forward to using my winch yesterday, but didnt' get around to it
