^^^Like the video clip.
I remembered seeing a few rigs with stock front and LC coils while searching a while back. Couldnt find the exact one I was looking for (where it really looked like a hot rod) but these are close to the same(LC/stock).


Anyways I agree with you being that your rear is heavy this probably would be a good combo. Maybe have to get a lil bit longer panhard drop bracket?

exactly what im thinking. Im going to be putting the longer coil on the passenger side ( the spare tire and the gas tank are on that side. When i decide to pop these in, im gonna get new shocks, brake lines, a panhard and an lspv adjuster to top it all off. If it looks good and doesn't stink bug toooooo much. i'll leave it how it is. but if it does quite a bit, im gonna mark down where my T-bars are set currently, and possibly adjust them 1"

Right on.. I originally had a 4" PH drop bracket with my 2" coils and my rear axle was pushed to the side. I made a adjustable PH bar to center the axle. The adjustable bar worked but I had thoughts of it being unsafe so end up putting OEM PH bar back on with 2" drop bracket and it solved all axle centering problems and much safer! Why didnt I just get the 2" drop bracket from the begining? Good question... Can never learn enough from that search button up there Anyways my point being, obviously try to match length of drop bracket exactly to height in coil lift.
Interested in hearing/seeing how it turns out!

Well my truck is factory height right now ( the 2" coil leveled it out perfectly, i didn't even have to change the shocks out, I can still stuff my 33 ) so im gonna put the LC coils in, then order my PH depending on how much lift it gives me.

Oh and I got my Optima swapped out under warranty... ( it only lasted 6-7 months ) but they come with a 3 year flat warranty ( no renewals on the newer batteries ) So before the 3 year ends, im gonna burn up another one and get it replaced

What led to what? need more info? Were the lights out of alignment? Is it illegal to have the HiLift jack mounted on the front bumper?

lol you "can" but because mine were bright yellow lights... its just a dead give away... i had white before and no one gave me problems.

Gotta love it, atleast you didn't get a VI (vehicle inspection) like they like to do up here in BC.

VI means you have to get your truck inspected. Chances are you'll fail for multiple things and have to get them fixed before you can re-insure it: mudflaps, flares, rust, lights out, the list goes on.

Thats so lame dude Maybe you can make a custom headlight mod where u can have a stock bulb then drill in a spot for an HID and have a swith between em? He he!

Gab is right too. I see atleast once a month a truck on CL or bc 4x4 forsale or in need of something because of a VI... So stupid like go chase the idiots in the big trucks with 10" of lift blocks and a bent frame or something hah thats why my 4rubner is gonna stay pretty clean

Still thats lame!!!!

A little update. I picked up an 1989 FJ62 axle complete hub to hub. its a bit grimy from being 23 years old, and sitting outside but everything works! Here it is:

Its just a larger differential, and a wider WMS. I believe the Fj60 differential is 9.5" and is IFS width. other than that, its the same as the mini truck axles. Same knuckles and hubs, but larger brakes, and longer axle shafts.

I spent 280 on it! I couldn't pass it up... I had to drive to santa rosa to get it, but thats no problem. I enjoy driving.

Im gonna do a spring over conversion and leaf it. 3" TG front with 4" shackles should keep it nice and low... Im only going with 35x12.50s

But basically, Im gonna be going through the whole thing. Im focused on getting the armor welded on first thing, that way its out of the way, and I can clean it up/paint it once its rebuilt.

Im on the fence post about doing 6 shooter knuckles and longfields right now... 35s are no problem to these axles from the factory. but Doesn't hurt to do it all the first time, right?

Nice axle buds! I like the sound of a 9.5" over an 8". Can u still get dirty 30's for it? If u can id go that way since its half the price of longs and you arent gonna beat it up and id say if ur doing axle shafts why not for 300 bucks get brandnew six shooters? They are brandnew and nice an strong.

Would be pretty sick to see it linked in te front though
