Dude, this makes me so undecided on an LT or Low SAS like that.

I agree with you Mak, the low sas is the best way to sas.

Its just hard for me cuz when we go wheeling in my group the girls all ride with me cause I have the most seats and they LOVE when I drive fast lol

Got my 1200lb MC clutch, and the shifter socket/seat bushing put in. and all i can say is WOW. what a difference. no more slop in the shifter, nice smooth transitions. and as far as the clutch goes... I expected something slightly stiffer, but no. its almost TOO soft for what im used to. the clutch easily is pushed in, and grips like duct tape! its amazing.

Nothing new... took the girlfriend to foresthill for a few hours, had subway, and wrestled in the snow.

sounds good. i've also been wanting to hit up Mormon Emigrant Trail this winter since that's where a lot of people go snow wheeling. lets get on keith's case and make him finish up his rear suspension sooner than later, and get your bro out there too - that's 4 rigs all within a 10 mile radius. heck, IIRC redwolf lives in antelope, that's 5...troy not far away makes 6...

K so...

I helped a friend of mine put his 4" OME lift kit on his fzj80 Landcruiser and he handed me the rear coils for helping him out! Now, Here's the question. Will I be able to run these coils with no lift up front? Basically what i'm planning to do is crank the T-bars 1" up front ( the truck is heavy up front ) and pop these coils in ( Longer coil would go on the passenger side because of the gas tank and the spare tire is on the passenger side on the tire carrier ) and get some shocks, panhard, LSPV and brake lines. Will this look pretty decent due to my bumper weighing close to 170 lbs by itself? ( it has a 33x10.50 km1, original spare rim and a jerry can on it now, so 200-210ish? )

my truck currently has a 2" roger brown coil spacer on the original coils. and it sits level with no weight in the rear... the second I load camping gear, its sagging again. Will these Fj80 coils make my truck rake and stink bug really bad?

Here's what the truck looks like with coil spacers, and no load in the truck with the rear bumper, tire and jerry can on.

only one way to find out - put them in. it's not like rear coils are THAT hard to mess with. another option might be to get airbags since your rig doesn't sag all the time, just when you have stuff in the back.

Yeah, i was just gonna pop them in and see what they look like. I plan on getting a roof rack eventually as well... so, even if the truck stink bugs slightly... itll be fine i think

Well to give you an idea...heres mine with 3" spacers up front and LC coils in the rear. I know your coils will be different than mine, but youll have even less lift up front than I had.

haha yeah but the 3rd gens use the front coils from an fj80 and they're like 3" longer than the rears. the rears are just really wide. Im gonna try them out and see what i can work with.
