I've actually replaced most of the vacume lines the fire got a bunch of them, this was fuel line and it seemed to have a ton of pressure on it, but I know what you mean, the next step in getting it running better is sorting out all the vacume lines.

For the disaster that it could of been, it is coming around for you. Just call when you are ready to get the lines set. Hey, you get to drive now, so that is a good thing.

I decided to change gears today and just do some things I wanted to do. I picked up some PEAL AND SEAL a few weeks ago and wanted to get that started, hope I did rite I got everything covered inside the quarters any way.

I've also been wanting to just finish up putting the interior back together, including the stereo install, so I went ahead and mounted my 6-9s in the rear panels, I should have listen to everybody about not mounting them there but it's what I've got and will make it work.

I had bought a few moving blankets cheap awhile back, I'm going to leave it on the floor of the cargo area as a little padding you can see it in the pics, I'm going start looking for a piece of carpet to finish up that area not sure yet what I'm going to use.
Anyway thanks for checking in.

wish they had peel an seal here just remember to leave your drains open (bottom rear corners) so any condensation goes out of the panels

Not all Lowes carry Peel and Seal but they can do a store to store shipment for you.

Buddy, might try Frost King, foil bscked/self adhering Closed cell foam over the p&s. It makes a huge difference and it's very light and very cheap. Much easier to work with then the peel & seal was!

I'm going to try and add it at least to the floor in the cargo area, I couldn't find it when I picked up the P&S or I would have done it now.

Keeping with the idea of putting the interior back together I got a little more done today.
I know it's not the same texture or the same shade of brown as the front carpet, but I picked up a large area rug at Walmart and finally got some carpet laid down in the cargo area, I think it looks great and really makes the back look more finished. I also paint and bolted in the roll bar. I still need to do the tail gate cover but I need to pick up a few things for that.

Need to pick up some more interior paint and touch up a few things in the back, need to grab some pinch weld trim and a few other things but I'm really happy with how it's turning out. Thanks everybody for checking in.

Thanks buddy, the wheel well covers are what I can only assume are part of a factory rubber floor mat set, I got them along with a piece that lays under the rear seat bottoms when I bought the interior, they are kinda tattered but better than trying to it carpet over them.

Woww!!! That looks great!!!! When did you get this truck? What happened to the red truck that needed a lot of work??? Just kidding, I went back and started reading your thread again and am on Page 12. What a lot of great memories with some of the things from then to now and knowing what all this trucks has gone thru to get it to where it is at.

Really enjoyed reading up to Page 12 and knowing what all has happened and where it is at, but still it refreshes the memory and got some good laughs along the way. Take a look back when you ever wondered if you were going to get to this stage. It is looking great. You have done great. I might be tempted to leave the tailgate off to show the details on what you have done. lol

I looked at LOWES and I'm sure they have something similar I just didn't see it.
And yes we need to meet up, I really want to see your silver back :-)

Hey terry you inspired me to go back to the beginning myself, looking at dates etc, I started this project in 09 man it seems like a lifetime ago. I doesn't feel like the same truck anymore. It's taken a lot longer than I ever planed and it's not done yet but it so much more than it was when started. I can't wait to get the old girl tagged again and just enjoy all the work I've put into it.

Thanks stereo guy, I'm really happy with the results on the carpet, one more item I can check off the list.
