yeah USPS can be great, i ordered a 2" 4Crawler body lift shipped the day i purchased it, and delivered the next day! Technically, but no one was home to accept the package so i had to go pick it up down the street.

aaand i just got done fixing my passenger side visor. i picked one up from the junkyard yesterday, and just today realized it had a crack in the same place. a bit of jb weld fixed that up.

pics are of the old (cracked) and the new (with jb weld)

I second the JB weld awesomeness. And if you didn't know, JB WILL conduct electricity because it has metal in it. A friend of mine repaired a cracked ignition key housing and learned this the hard way....smell something...

I have actually seen that stuff used to fix a cracked engine block on a junk-yard parts getter car. Hyundai + Saw-Zall = Korean El Camino! And it was that awful factory pink/salmon color.

all right, some pics and sound

first the pics

here's my old plugs:

and there was an oil build-up around the base of #3...

and a sound clip of my stutter. nothing to see, but the sound is near perfect (for once). i moved the camera around to get different tones, but any "thuds" or skips are from the exhaust (it's a leak right after my cat, so it's easy to hear. i know, i need to get it fixed)

22R-EC Stutter

anyway, just wondering what people thought of the condition of the afore-mentioned items

naw, i don't think. i'll look at it tomorrow, though. the "video" was taken close to the exhaust leak, under the truck. i might be able to get better sound later.

The truck sounds like a tractor lmao. I thought my exhaust leaks were bad haha. I meant valve cover for the oil on the plug, if ya didn't get what I was gettin at lol. Can you feel where the exhaust is comin from? Loose flange maybe?
Thx on the logo. It took me all day to get a handle on the program. It still needs a little tweakin and touch up.

a good way to find exhaust leaks is to run seafoam through the intake. i found all 3 of mine. mostly fixed now. plus, it cleans out your engine

I was gonna say just that, as my leaky Valve Cover wound up in #4. Also, that's quite a wide range of conditions, ya know? Really don't like the Ashy #4 and #3 as well.. More so 4, eh?

Ran OEM Denso's forever, and the last set before these(since the rebuild) went 150K and still looked decent, believe it or not, hahaha. Interesting Plugs there... I'm not sure what the general consensus is about them, but if you're happy with em, hey, ya know? lol. The last truck I had for 200K, and the Bosch's in there were just fine for around 125K..... never had a hiccup! lol. The Bosch O2 on the other hand? Not so much, lol.

Hope the JB Held, hehe. I have that Kwik stuff on a water pipe that I did in an emergency(under the CTS and CSITSwitch body, elbow)...... it's STILL holding, just fine.... but now you got me worried, hahaha.

The exhaust leak, ....dang! And, are you saying you have a miss/hiccup, Ian? Sorry, I'm just REALLY wiped out! lol.

Still looking forward to your bed contraption! Guys love interesting cargo spaces and cubby's, don't we? hahaha.

Oh, ...Got the box in, Ian, .....we'll see, eh? lol. PLEASE GOD~! lol.

oh, i know exactly where it is, and exactly what i need to fix it. i'm just too lazy. and besides, it probably adds another half-horsepower

yeah, i just used the exhaust leak so you could hear the stutter. no other reason.

loose valve cover, eh? hmmm... now how would one go about fixing said cover? time to look it up!

good luck on your ps box... gawd that whole system has been nothing but one big nightmare...

also, i forgot to mention, i'm not too sure how well my #4 plug seats/threads. i can get it started and it'll go down a bit, but it seems to tighten up sooner than the other 3. huh.

thanks guys. i'm going to see if i can't get a better sound...
