OK so i may have found something - dunno until tear it apart, again but something didn't look right when i was going back over the Inchworm Gear instructions on Low Range Off Road's website
I noticed the forward of the 3 pistons was inverted compared to the other two
when i pulled the valve body from my transmission all 3 pistons were inserted with springs down
all three pistons had springs down on my donor transmission were this same way so i figured it was accurate.
i forgot i had the Factory transmission manual. on page AT-24 is shows what would be the Bo piston being inserted with the springs up
so i go back to work tomorrow, i will pull this thing apart on sunday and see what happens.
I honestly have no clue why both transmissions would have the Bo piston inserted the wrong way
I am burned out on this project. If someone wants it as feel free to make me an offer.
Keeping the roof rack, winch and lighting
It has a half completed dual case install behind the A340, comes with a ton of crap.
$2500 https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f108.../#post52474576
next project is going to be a 10 year old Tacoma or something

Chad I will even deliver it to you if you want it; I could probably part it out and come out about the same but don’t wanna go that route.

Yep, it’s really for sale. I love having a project but this thing has spent more time parked than running. Just burned out on it.

it’s been fun but pretty much time to move on.
I am leaning towards a 2010-2015’ish Tacoma access cab with a 3RZ. Canopy so the dogs have a place.
These route would allow me to get rid of my Dodge truck and 4Runner.
save a little on insurance and with my daughter and grandminion moving to Alabama soon I don’t really need a 4 door full-size truck.
plans for a Tacoma would be an ARB bumper, sliders and a mild lift.
Sad to see you let it go but glad someone else on the forum picked it up. Fingers crossed you can find an "affordable" taco in today's market. I looked last summer when I had to decide to put in a 5vz or get a newer truck. Would have loved a double cab taco (4 or 6cyl didn't really matter to me) but man for the price and mileage I would have had to do everything I did to my current rig and more to get it to the same place so I decided with the 5vz for now.
Sorry to see you were selling! Glad to see that Chad got it, so that I didn't have to LOL
Haha Jake, i know it would have been in good hands with you too. When Chad and his wife made they decision to pick it up knowing it was a project i knew it would be in good hands.
Chad has had numerous toyotas and this one should serve his family well running the trails of the PNW west, and this one has A/C which his other truck didn't. Now i just have to dig out all the parts that i have stashed that i included in the deal for him.

best of luck!
Thanks, it will be sad to see it go but also know it was time to send it on.
I would love to add a super charger. You are correct about the market being nuts. I won't be ready to trade in the dodge for a month or so but i have seen a few decent deals out there.
I do have a friend who is in the wholesale auto business who said he would help me to find the right deal.
Big thing i want to find with an Access Cab is of course 4x4 but if it has a canopy that will put me a step ahead. We have two dogs, one little husky female and a rescue Mutt that was suppose to only be 65 lbs, he is now close to a 100 lbs so a little too big to ride inside the cab now, even with a double cab like my current Dodge.

I feel that, I have two 60+lb Aussies and it's kept me from a pickup when I was looking and bought my current 2nd gen because of space.
When you were stating your next project I think you mispelled Trekker.
a Trekker would be cool.
one recently sold on eBay for $39k.
I want something only 10-15 years old this time around
so today was sorta bitter sweet.
Creeper Sleeper aka Chad came by with his tow truck connection and picked up the 4runner
his son even got to run the hydraulics on the truck
now the real challenge begins to find a decent Tacoma in today’s market with out killing my wallet
