id check the connector an then pull out your test light check the sockets are getting power follow it back also check your fuses

electrical in the auto biz gets the big bucks for labor hours as it takes time to find the issues

even just a light bulb an a couple wires is a primitive test light

some of the old toy light sockets the get corrosion in there an lose connection to the bulbs horn connectors corrode its a matter of start at the problem an work back to the switch

also check your grounds, that can only help everything including engine

i believe theres a ground for the front half of the harness around the drivers fender i KNOW there's one on the alternator harness before it plugs into the main harness around the coil mount area

I believe the horn mount acts as a ground, I will have to look into it and see. Been checking in on your thread. The blinkers usually get some bad corrosion in them. Look on my 86 Runner build on the last few pages and you can see what I had to go thru on that.

Glad you found which port for the tach, I will give that a try and it would give a cleaner look. Let us know how your presentation goes. You took on a big challenge and have done well. It is a rewarding experience in my book. Great job!!

Wow, great work, great build PERIOD! you said you got master cylinder painted, I missed whether it's the stock or bigger 1... Sorry I haven't been here man... just hadn't checked new threads for a while. ... Can't barely get caught up with my own plans, let alone execute them, lol. Very impressive man!

It happens to all of us. Usually the easiest things will get you. Just a steady progress and you will get it done before you know it. Enjoy each little fix. It is one more fix closer to being done with it.

I think I am starting to like this global warming thing. Freezing my butt of isnt for me. 70 degrees would be nice. We were almost at 70 yesterday.

Wahoo!! Bet the feeling was great. Congratulations. There will be a few bugs you will need to workout, but one by one you will get them.
