Well here it is! As simple as I could think to make it. 2 pieces of wood and two chains.

Installed hooks.

Hangs like so.

Now the seal was kinda tricky. I just cut up an old little swimming pool and duct taped it. Works well, but I'd like to brainstorm and come up with something else. But for the weekend it will do fine! Do you guys have any ideas for improvement?

Hey, dont hate on my penmanship. We're out camping and boating. Last night I had to turn the A/C down and bundle up I got too cold! Which is a good thing haha. But we left my dog Kalo in the back while we went out on the boat. Its 91 degrees F out and my thermometer read 62 degrees F inside for him so I call that a win.

Pretty snazzy setup, I wouldn't have thought of something like that, mind you i don't have a generator that i bring camping either and i doubt a truck battery would be able to power an a/c unit haha

So after all that work building the sleeping platform and hanging the ac unit I found a killer deal on a 1988 six-pac slide in camper. It was meant to be. With the shape its in I couldnt pass it up.

Just picked it up an hour away today and we are heading to the lake now for a test run. Has sink/water tank, icebox (upgrading to mini fridge later), propane heat and range, and a slot for my window a/c. Sleeps 1-4 and has a table and lots of storage. Pretty stoked about this decision.

BIG NEWS!! That stutter problem I was talking about in the beginning of the thread is no more! My mechanic said a long time ago that new plugs, wire, cap, and rotor should solve it. Me and my dad went to do that and the #3 spark plug was stuck in but rotating like it was stripped. I finally took it in to have it professionally removed and bored, then a heely coil put in and a new plug. Drives like a dream now and to me its like a racecar now hahaha. GOD WILLS IT!!!
