Don't see the pressure gauge sending unit... Don't forgot to unplug the one you have before you turn it on with that cluster or you'll damage the O/p gauge. Unless you got a new one

Last night I decided what wheels I wanna get. The pro comp series 7069 alloys 15x8. They are 10 lbs lighter than the steelies.

I finally got around to doing some more work on the truck yesterday and today. I got the "how to" on this project from Youtube. This guy WheeliePete has some great videos. Here's the link:

So I had a lot of trouble finding a 5/16 clevis pin at 2.25" in length. I had to have a guy custom fab em at work. Worked out better tho cuz they were free!
I did have to by a grinder and some other tools to do the job tho. PICS!!

Heres the new pins in.

And with doors off.

It takes me a few minutes to get them off and on. Pretty cool! I'm ready for summer!

$300. It has 4.10 in it so I could just throw it on and go but who knows I'll probably re-gear and lock it. I have the feeling this project will take a LONG time. Finding the spare money as well as work time. But a mans gotta have projects right!?

Wow your projects turning out great! Changing the fuel filter on my 92 v6 was a bitch too, Im really digging the 2nd gen box, I thought about replacing my 85's longbox with a 2nd gen box but ended up repairing it.

Decided to get the cheap 15x8 pro comp series 51 steel wheels. Backspacing is 3.75". 4 shipped for $223.96. I had some pretty worn out 31x10.5 that i threw on em. I'll buy new tires for winter. Picssszz

That cluster is for the next generation truck (2nd gen runner and i think 3rd gen pickup) so you know but I'm pretty sure you can make it work for yours with some "gentle" modifications. That's a very clean looking truck tho! Wish yota's up here in Canada looked that clean

Ya, I bought that at u pull it and was super excited because I thought it was a rare find. I took it all apart and wound the odo to match my truck's, and it wasnt till I went to install it that I realized it was different. DOH!!! But luckily I sold it. Still looking for the correct sr5 gauge!

well if i plan to go custom cluster like i have been thinking about for my runner i will have one available, but by the time that happens I'm willing to bet you will find one. I know Chefyota here on the forum finds so many goodies for our generation trucks/runners he might have something kicking around

I should actually just swap my non sr5 cluster into my truck since i have all aftermarket gauges anyways haha. Only thing about my sr5 cluster is its in KPH not MPH so you would still need to find bezels for it too.

the readout is the same, the needle moves the same all you would change is the odometer for your mileage to an american style and the face plate, The faceplate reads both mph and KPH it just show the MPH in smaller lettering underneath

My wife and I are going camping this weekend and will be sleeping in the back of the truck. Also sharing the space is my 85 lb. Black lab and its supposed to be 97° out! So my project for the week was buying a window A/C unit, and figuring out how to mount it efficiently. I drew up a design heres a pic.

Well today I was at the hardware store getting supplies and I came up with a simpler design in my head and just went with it. I dont have pix yet but its done and works great! Way ez and idk why nobody else (that i could see online anyway) has done this. Ive searched several times and only found one guy who had his tailgate down and wood in place of it with the window unit sticking out of that, but that makes it difficult to get inside. Tomorrow I'll get the pics of it up and running. I cant wait for you guys to see it! Stay tuned!
