Now don't be bleeding all over Joe's rig!!! I'm sure he's not going to want to clean bits of your flesh off it.

my DNA is there now....however diluted it is.

Joe is finishing up his Latin computer course over the next few days, so I'm not sure he is going to be outside doing any work........but I would like to at least get 1 head done and installed by the end of the weekend.

One thing you might need to consider...You probably will need to adjust the valves. You'll have to get replacement shims to get the spacing proper. Just an FYI

yeh....1 good thing...it ran well. 2nd-ly the valves check cold so it can be done on the stand.....and 3rd I think it's a matter of knowing what size shims you need and then you order them......i think

it is, it is.

it's one of the neatest paintjobs too.......we cleaned it all up...used plastic primer and the red "chrome" paint (it's transparent) and it came out looking like a piece of candy, like a red cough-drop....pretty cool trick.

and thanks.

work today and tomorrow, so no progress.....likely...

Its looking better in there. Maybe your parts will get in for you in time. Glad to see you are getting your weekends off now. The weekends off probably feels like a promotion in itself.

I have had to update my links page twice for your build, so that means you are making progress. Looking good guys. Hang in there.

hello all......

OK....that's pretty good service to order that yesterday and got it today.

so, of course, Joe is upstairs doing his computer latin and I needed to try this thing out

placement....

and then you compress it down by turning the thing on the bottom to squeeze it all together to expose the little bits that hold it all together

retrieve the little bits with my LEFT hand while taking a pic with my right

gather all the bits and pieces to be bagged up since everything has to stay together

and bagged up

that's probably all for today....Joe is busy and this is for HIM to do

You guys have done a great job on getting thigns cleaned up. Looking good. Since you have done the 92 til now, the tool shed has grown quite a bit.

I have a feeling somewhere down the road you will be into another motor some where. You still have another kid to get a truck ready for.

It does take some coordination trying to get the picture right and holding the part. Doing great.

that tool takes alot less coordination than the other tool i had for my 22re....it gets my vote as money well spent.

alrighty....off to work.

as usual, thanks for the compliments guys.

and yes indeed, the little guy is only 9, so yep, there is likely another rebuild in the future.
