Nice job on removing the chrome. Looks very rugged. Remove the chrome on the grille for when you make front and rear custom bumpers them you''ll yourself one sexy runner.

yeah, good looking truck. Where'd you get that rack set up? I basically have the same truck as you, but different color and different headlights... So my truck was deprived of a roof rack

HAHA my buddy had it laying around, he had it for he's old Honda Accord all I had to do is replace the feet and it fit pretty good. So far I've hauled Christmas tress and Dinning room tables with it but no bike or boards haha!

Hey how are those headers treating you? Are they worth the buck?

do you have a part number for that rack? and can it accommodate a roof basket?

haha I dont wanna hi-jack your thread, but have you seen the videos? amazing upgrade and fun Its a bit stressful when you first start digging into your engine. Plus i'm in cali too, and my system is very illegal... no cat... haha I'd say the headers were worth the stress, sound and result.

Hey MaK92-4RnR I haven't been able to find a part number for the rack it is kind of old LOL. Your best bet is maybe to run down to Sports Chalet that's what I did they just needed the vehicle and they did the rest.

Bump to an thread that's a few months old for the answer to the question above w/ the pic.

Those two wires go to the ballast resistor on that t-shaped bracket just above your circle and are a part of the auxilliary A/C cooling fan assembly.

Well got a great deal a little while back on a couple things and will post picks soon.
- 17x8 Enkei rt something or others
- 285's Nitto Terra Grapplers which rub the stupid valence thingamajig
- and a niffty air freshener LOL
- also have some PIAA's to install along with some extra stuff my truck didn't come with like some of the letters on the rear license plate panel, and the rear brake light.

And now since summer is on its way I'm going start collecting 3.4 swap stuff! So if you're local hit me up I may need some parts

Like I said in my previous post I wanted to do a 3.4 swap, I think I will go a different route not quite sure yet. I've been thinking about just replacing the 3.0 with a newer one and swapping in a Manual trans and re-gearing the rear I'm not sure what kind of improvement this will make but it beats dealing with the Refs....I think. Any opinions would be great more so those with experience dealing with both.

Thanks.

Who knew changing a cheap cd player for another cheap cd player could be so messy lol.

I guess $50 can go a long way!

As of Nov 5 2010
Then I got to work!
After having multiple coolant leak issues My overheat thread I decided to look my truck over and see what was going on one thing lead to another and here I am:

My pooch!Always hanging out while I bang myself up under this truck lol
Ordered some Gun Metal Gray acrylic urethane last week so I've been sanding for days and still have a lot to go but its fun so who cares!
Picking up the 5speed this weekend cause automatics....well their automatics .
Anyway my leak is still there I'm suspecting a few different scenarios One of which may mean the replacement of the motor but we'll see. Hopefully the paint comes soon so I can prime this bad boy!

Project is finally under way
