Okay got some quick updates ARB winch bumper is on and just got my Kennsaw Multi-carrier bumper in and put in place still have to do some welds next I'll be adding those LC coils in the pic to the left and 1.5" bj spacers to rid myself of the little bit of rubbing on the frame seam. After that I'll try and do my transmission swap which is also sitting on the ground next to my springs LOL.
Learned allot about paint these past few weeks and to be honest it ain't easy! I'll be redoing it this summer most likely but for now I'm okay with what I got, didn't cost much so its cool. Tons of Orange peel and some runs, can't rely on color sanding because it just dulls the living crap out of the single stage. Please excuse my messy garage its been a Hell of a week!

couple questions about the rear bumper

How much did it cost?
how long did it take to get to you?
how much was shipping?

I've been nervous about ordering one from kennsaw, because i've been getting mixed reviews...

I may have just gotten lucky I didn't see any bad reviews until I got the bumper HAHA.
Lets see
cost: For my options $750
Shipping: to west coast to loading dock apx $150 from NC
ETA: Roughly 4 1/2 weeks from order to door step

Kyle seemed really cool to me answered all of my BS questions pretty quick at that, looks like I got a redesign as well approach angle seems to have been improved at the toe hitch lining up with the bumper as appose to being under it.
All in all experience was about 99% positive. Even the bumper came in on a pallet wrapped like a rebuilt engine. I guess it depends on the season I've read many reviews after getting mine and none of them seemed justifiable but with that many people saying these things some of it has to be true to some extent. I'm just glad I didn't have any issues at all, at this point I like them allot! But who knows what the future holds.

I just called them and basically asked for shipping quotes to 95661 ( which is pretty much the same distance as yours is since im in nor cal ) and he gave me $267 to a residential and $163 to a commercial. I just calculated it to a fully loaded rear bumper which is a total of $1,232 for residential and $1,128 for commercial. Which options did you get?

Sounds about right Multi-carrier w/ the single gas can holder, hi-lift jack mount, tow hitch, and d-ring mounts. It was all I felt I needed, If I needed any thing else I would just make it myself.
Your Shipping might go down on the final invoice mine went down $20 try to go commercial if you can. You can use that money welding that thing up. If you do you will be able to just take the parts off the pallet and shove it in the runner no prob, that's what I did.

Hows your build coming anyway???

I have to weld the rear where the bumper meets the brackets but the brackets bolt up nice for an out the box bumper, the front is a direct on.

What kind of gearing did you get? And for what kind of driving?

Ok ok, so the bumper and the brackets come as two pieces and must be welded together?

I went to a junkyard and bought factory 4.88 differentials and through aussies in them. and what do you mean by what kind of driving?

Yeah you are correct welding is a must however you could drill and bolt but welding is preferred. How much did the 4.88 cost. By driving I mean are you planning on doing trails.

Hmm I really need to get on top of learning how to weld... really disturbs me that I haven't taken the time since i have so much scrap in my backyard. my 4.88s cost 500 bucks for both assembled diffs. and my truck is driven whenever i feel like it. I dont DD it, but it gets driven on the street, snow, dirt, mud, sand... where ever i take it lol

Hey man, How's the rear bumper holding up out of curiousity? your truck is looking damn good since the paint, and color matched fender flares.

HAHA I just left a post in your build thread! Thanks dude since I'm horrible at painting cars I've decided to do a much needed repaint in the same color by a more talented car painter lol! I love the color but hate what I did. I'm waiting however to put a 3.4 in so I can have the hood painted at the same time. The bumper is holding up great I had to sand the gussets because I forgot to put some paint under there to prevent rusting after the welding was done. Just got my spare on the back a few days ago the runner is getting heavy! But the added weight feels nice on the road especially when there is wind kicking up. How are you man?

Nice! I just got off the phone with Kyle at KMA and He basically gave me a quote for $1,002 for the rear bumper shipped to my work ( commercial ) Im considering it. I really like the look of it and its simple. He also said that he could have it to me by the middle of august. ( which is just in time for one of my big trips ) So im fighting my conscious on whether or not i should drop another grand into my truck when i just spent 2,150 on getting the top end rebuilt on the runner. lol But yeah, Im doing alright, like i mentioned above i just spent a unexpected 2,150 on the runner. and I just got it back. haha

That's allot of cheese my friend I spent close to that doing maintenance on mine and I still went out and got the bumper. If you have the money do it or you could try fabbing one yourself...I never had the patience or skill for that kind of madness lol but It'll be allot cheaper with all the personal touches you need while keeping a few bucks in your pocket. Is KMA going under a new name " Tactical Armor Group"?

Yeah, I cant weld. lol so thats out of the question. and yes, KMA is under the new name Tactial armor group. ( its kinda lame, but whatever. I liked KMA more ) lol but you have no complaints about the bumper? im only getting 2 jerry cans, hi lift mount, and the receiver hitch as options.

Well if I could change anything it would be a couple of little things like a place to mount my plate, reverse light mounts, and a way to ensure the swing out stays put while driving. These are more on my end however and can easily be fabbed up for super cheap. Oh and make sure you tell them which Hi-lift jack you intend on putting on the bumper, so they space the mounts out where they need to be! When I start trailing this thing I may have more comments on it but for now I think its worth what I paid for it.
