I was worried it blew off some glass, but it is all still there.

I need to find some disassembly photos of the sun roof, its needed replaced due to cracked glass and a possible water leak. Now I am afraid it's going to fly off and hurt someone, plus I don't like sucking on exhaust fumes.
experienced the same today on the interstate. all windows closed, but the wooshing sound got a bit louder. looked up, and noticed my moonroof glass lifting up from its frame, perhaps 1 to 1-1/2 inches lifted at the drivers front corner. clearly, the epoxy/sealer is failing. i got lucky, too, and slowed down and pulled well off the interstate beyond the breakdown lane. put the moonroof in the back seat and continued on my way. ran into some snow showers before getting home.

i'm going to take the unit to an automotive glass installer and see if they can epoxy/seal it with some good stuff. luckily, i have a spare from the parts runner to use while i get the original one repaired.

It took awhile to find one of these, but I got it replaced. After I got it on and the radiator refilled it was still showing overheat on the dash, and had a throttle bog on tip in.
I realize this thread is old, but do you recall where you found the hose pictured above? Mine popped. Thankfully, I had just parked and got out when it gave out. No boom, but fluid poured out profusely and steam was coming out from under the hood like a large cloud.

Toyota has since discontinued this hose and no aftermarket alternative exist. I’m piecing together some parts in an attempt to make something that will work in its place, but I would prefer the real thing.

Thoughts?

EDIT:
I no longer need the oem part. I pieced together parts and successfully remade this part. Works great.
