SqWADoosh's 1985 Runner Build

My truck handles great on & off road with hi steer setup without both torque or sway bars. I had planned on making a quick release sway bar setup but after driving it I felt I didn't need sway bars at all. I will be adding a steering stabilizer soon to help with steering wheel shake when on bumpy roads or trails at higher speeds.

I cannot wait to do Hi-steer. I absolutely hate the stock Push and pull steering on my truck. I have been trying to save for the kit.
I think you are right and sway bars are not even necessary after you do the install.

1. New custom front bumper (Badlands baja - http://badlandbumpers.com/bajabumper.html)

13. Add winch (Warn M8000)

Needless to say the truck got a huge facelift. The guys at Badland Bumpers did a great job on my new bumper. Their lead fabricator/installer Cody then spent over 3 hours installing the new bumper, frame reinforcement, and winch. As if that wasn't enough, I offhandedly mentioned that I had developed an exhaust leak. He then offered to help me find it and weld it up. Amazing customer service all around. I highly recommend them.

i wasn't aware marlin offered those. I put the top-of-the-line auto-zone one's in both of my trucks, they made a TON of difference over the stock ones. everyone always comments on how bright my headlights are. i wonder how they compare to those marlin ones... Drive up here so we can do a side-by-side comparison
