Man I like the look of that! Are you going to add anything onto the outside of it, such as a hoop the entire length or are you going for more of a smooth look like it is right now.

I'm gonna leave it with just the square tube for now, i really like the clean look and i hate hitting slider when i step out of my door... if i end up wanting more protection it will be easy enough to add on later

I really like the idea. After looking at how you did this, its making me second guess putting the ones on that I made.

I have square rockers/ sliders as well. but I think im going to add tube just to kick yota out when I use them. Other wise I think its close. You think that will push you far enough away??

well it depends on what your building them for. I've wheeled pretty hard for 4 years now with this truck w/o sliders. my style of driving, i don't like to be right up next to big rocks and bouncing/sliding around. I'm mainly looking to protect my rockers when i drop off of things, and these will do that well. I won't have as much protection from the side if there's a big rock next to my door or something, but I would want more than just sliders to protect me in that situation anyway, so its just my $.02

thanks man, no i haven't got them in yet... i'm not sure if i'll get it done this summer cuz i'd have to re-do my shifter trim and everything. there's a lot more pressing issues on my plate right now so its more of a "down the road" project. hows your first gen coming?

I ordered a t-case cross-member/skid from budbuilt about a month and a half ago, i've called them 2x and each time they tell me "it will ship in a couple days" ive heard nothing but good things about their company so i'm trying to be patient but this is pushing it.
on a positive note, i got back from moab last night...my bro threw me a wheeling bachelor party i'll post some pics soon
