The mechanism that fixed it to the cab is really a crazy idea. Had a knob that you turn to retract the rod.

I'm still in disbelief that I now have one.

Thanks man. I can't wait to get the rest of it done. I have just been so jammed up. Currently Have a full shop at the school, and two more cars coming in the morning hat need work. That's a total of 8. Man. Hopefully I can get caught up and start working on my stuff again. Haha

awesome score on the cover! that's funny that you were just talking about wanting one for awhile, and now you got one!

I have an unrelated question. in your last pic those map lights, are those a factory option, or something that you added? they look good, never seen them before.

It really is funny. I had a PM from 85sr5excab about a thread that someone had one they wanted to get rid of. So I was ripping and tearing through YT to find it and secure getting it.

I believe the map light setup is another one of those goofy factory sr5 options. I have seen some with it and some without.

There is a bracket on it that bolts up to the roof underneath the rear view mirror. seems to be under the headliner.

It does not work too bad. I put some new incandescent bulbs in it last year. Still not too bright. I really want to do LED's

I can take more pictures if you want some.

I see pictures of them all of the time but have never seen one in person. Not sure what people did with them. It is as rare as the back seat delete panel. You scored there.

Likewise, I have also never seen a rear delete panel in person. I wouldn't mind having one of those also.

The sunroof panels bust have been used for sleds or something.

CBO (Pat) came over today to hang out and work on his truck a little. Always great being able to help out another member and also hang out a little. Had fun today. I'll head your way next time. Name: CD612262-5B55-4387-9329-EE4F37156975_zpsxhvvi6mj.jpg

The boys and I went to Home Depot yesterday to get a new bathroom vent fan. When we were leaving we spotted this 3rd gen. Aside from some dents and the saggy bottom it wasn't that bad. I always want another 3rd gen every time I see one.

Yea. It's pretty nasty. Has the LS3 in it. Comes all setup with exhaust, intake, etc.. Pretty nice.

I'm 3rd in line for Optimus prime!!!

Made some space in our driveway after getting rid of our camper.

Now my runner has a nice parking spot finally.
